A free Framer ASCII component that turns any image into animated ASCII art, rendered live in the browser. Drop in a logo or icon and it samples the image into characters in real time — no plugin, no external library, no build step.

Everything is configurable from the Framer properties panel. Control character density with font size, swap the character set, and tune contrast and threshold to match your artwork. Pick an animation — shimmer, wave or scan — or switch it off for a clean static render. Optional 3D rotation gives you the spinning effect you've seen on terminal-style landing pages, and a mouse-tracking mode adds glow or repel on hover.

Native sizing keeps the component sharp at any scale: load a 48px source and it maps one pixel to one character, so you can resize it like a regular image without losing the ASCII look. It renders to canvas for performance, stays static on the Framer editor canvas to keep your workspace fast, and animates in preview and on your published site.
